White Prose – Making the Mundane Conspicuous is an online site designed by Leandro Torres (Leo) to showcase his writing portfolio. His work includes a wide range of pieces, such as such as book reviews, academic essays, short stories, poems, and journal entries. Most of these are polished versions of assignments he completed for his creative writing, fiction writing, analysis of dystopian literature, and poetry classes.
Leandro’s inspiration centers around the desire to turn the ordinary, sometimes dull, experiences in life into catalysts for personal insight, reflection, and transformation.
His most recent project, The Anachronistic, showcases a dystopian society in which people with Cluster B personality disorders, particularly narcissism, reframe societal rules through gaslighting and manipulation to meet their needs.
